Common issue on most rubber trim pieces is shrinkage from the harmful UV rays of the sun. Here’s a great example of that on the wiper cowl. Sadly there isn’t a factory replacement for the seal or even a seal from another Honda that will work. But luckily for you there is a solution.
Replacement seals will now be available on the website. They are pre cut to length and about 1/2 inch longer on each end so you could trim it perfectly to your liking. It will also come with an adhesive promoting pad, so the adhesive will bite onto the cowl and prevent it from coming off down the road.
